Corn is here

We finally picked the corn yesterday, just ahead of the pesky squirrels. We picked 130 ears which we processed, froze and put away for cooler days. We also started picking the heirloom Granny Mary peas. These are doing very well and we anticipate an abundant harvest. Next in line are the figs which arrived July 11 last year but look to be a little later this year.
Can't wait for the whole fig preserves and the strawberry fig jam. We've been sold out of those for a long time.
Check out the pics!
